Nothing makes me happier than photographing mothers…especially around Mother’s Day (if you want to read more about why I LOVE mothers, read all about here). Mothers often find themselves behind the camera instead of in front of it and every chance I get to photograph a mom’s genuine, confident and fearless spirit, my heart bursts with joy! So naturally, capturing Zae wasn’t just fun. It was EPIC.

Zae is one of those breathtakingly beautiful women who probably doesn’t realize just how STUNNING she is. I mean…LOOK at her. The woman seriously doesn’t look a day over 25!!!  Can you believe this woman has a son in college?!?? That’s right….COLLEGE. She has the most amazing cheekbones, her smile is radiant and let’s not even discuss her bold red lip and the light in her eyes…#PERFECTION. But regardless of all of her outer beauty, her spirit is so genuine, loving and joyful that you can’t help want to be around her.

She is the type of mom that you can talk to about anything, but I have a feeling if you try to pull one over on her, she will teach you a lesson. Each time I’m around her, I learn something that makes me stronger as a wife and woman of God. How amazing is that? Isn’t that what women should do? Inspire each other and lift each other up? Being around that type of light…that type of pureness…it’s one of the best things a woman can do and that’s why I’m so drawn to women like Zae. She is incredibly strong, loving and graceful….a natural beauty.

Zae was the first woman I’ve captured on my new v-flats in my studio for Mother’s Day and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome!! Zae is SO genuine. SO confident. SO fearless. Her beauty + these V-Flats? Guys I’m obsessed.
