I feel like it’s been so long since I’ve written a Monday post, but we made it to Florida!! Between moving across the country and growing Baby Boy Harris, things have been crazy around here! So here’s what’s been going on:

1. We spent some time in Virginia with family and that’s when the heat first hit us. Let me say…being pregnant in Virginia heat? No bueno.
2. From there we, headed to Charlotte! This is one of our favorite places for so many different reasons (This is the city Ethan spent his college years and where we became engaged), so it only made sense we spend a few days here! It was so good to see so many friends and loved ones! 
3. From there, we went to Atlanta and it felt SO good to be back home! We were able to catch up with so many friends and family while in town. We didn’t get to see nearly as many people as we wanted, but at least we were able to see some! We even made it to Kupcakerie!! I was so happy to see Kascha and Henry living out their dreams and of course…the cupcakes made this pregnant mama VERY happy!!

     4. After a few days at home, we finally made it to Florida and y’all…I thought the heat in Virginia was bad! I forgot just how HUMID Florida could get! I didn’t think I’d miss Alaska’s temperatures so much, but WHEW! It’s hot up in here y’all. Nevertheless, it feels nice to be minutes away from a beach everywhere we turn. Setting up business and expanding our family here is going to be so much fun!

and finally,

5. I woke up this morning ready to take on the day…I get up, let Teddy out, open the blinds to let God’s light in and what am I greeted by? A green lizard staring me in the face…INSIDE THE HOUSE…looking at me up and down as if to say “Yea, I’m here…what are you gonnna do about it?” I was not prepared to deal with such wildlife so early in the morning…not to mention it was 81 degrees at 9 am!! What can I say? We are officially NOT in Alaska anymore!

Nevertheless, after days of searching, we’ve officially found a home and today is move in day! As we speak, our home is being filled with boxes and there is a lot going on! I can’t wait to get everything unpacked and start turning this house into a home!!

Moving from Alaska to Florida has definitely taken some getting used to, but I’m so excited to start this new chapter here! Cheers to new adventures!!
