A few days ago, I walked into Buy Buy Baby for the first time and I can I say something? WOW. That is ALOT of store!!! I honestly had no idea what to expect, but I gotta tell you, I was NOT expecting all of that!

Having a baby is a whole new world for Ethan and me and if there is one thing we’ve learned since announcing our pregnancy is that everyone has an opinion about everything. Whether it’s about labor and delivery methods, sharing the name of the baby  (which is totally NOT happening until our baby boy is here), or nursery color and theme ideas, everyone has an idea of what we should and shouldn’t do. Not all pregnancy advice is bad, which is why we as new soon-to-be parents, choose and pick what to listen to. But for the most part, Ethan and I are very easy-going and enjoy figuring things out as they happen.  HOWEVER COMMA, one thing we can use as MUCH help on as possible?!? THE BABY REGISTRY!!

Neither one of us has been to a baby shower in YEARS and aside from the basics (furniture, diapers, burp cloths, etc.), we have NO idea what to add to our registry. Between moving from Alaska to Florida, growing a human, caring for a dog and capturing CRAZY beautiful clients, the registry hasn’t really been at the forefront of my mind. But with less than 5 months to go before our baby boy arrives, we should probably get on it.

When walking around Buy Buy Baby, there was so much stuff I wanted, but wasn’t sure we actually needed. I saw baby beds that cost more than $2,000 (seriously, what is this bed made of? The original wood from Baby Jesus’ manger?!??!), all kinds of breast pumps, car seats, strollers and what the heck is a swaddle??! Luckily my sister and mom are great resources, but I’d love to hear from you all!
