I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here! Here, you'll find inspirational stories of clients, my journey as a wife and first-time mother and other adventures I have that makes my world go 'round. So please, sit back, grab some coffee ( or my personal favorite, a good ol' fashioned Arnold Palmer!) and enjoy exploring my latest work! Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!
Every woman needs a girlfriend. One she can run to when she needs to cry, scream and hear the harsh truth. One she can sip wine with, tell her secrets to, be encouraged by when she’s feeling down and travel the world with. My best friend Tamara or as I love to call her “Tiny Tam” or “Tam” is that to me and SOOOOOOO much more.
Seriously, where do I even begin with this woman? From the moment I met Tam in college, I knew she was someone special. What I didn’t know is that she would become more than a friend. She would become a sister. She would become family. We both majored in journalism (her print, me broadcast), joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in Fall 2007 (shoutout to u.n.b.r.e.AKA.b.le. !!) and had dreams that we both chased like there was no tomorrow.
Together we have survived emotional roller coasters, celebrated dreams being realized, explored the world and we’re only in our mid-20s. Not a day goes by where we don’t chat and it is in those chats that we see growth. Not only in ourselves, but in each other. Having her in front of my lens was not only memorable, it was PURE FUN. She is running in the New York marathon this Sunday, so aside from being mesmerized by her gorgeousness, make sure you wish her luck below!!
Ok, ok…now to her:
Tam, there is no doubt in my mind that you are gift from God. You sharpen me in so many ways and I am SOOOOO proud of you!! I’m so honored to have captured your beauty through my lens. Good luck with your race Sunday! I know you’re going to rock it!
