I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here! Here, you'll find inspirational and encouraging stories of me and other broken people like me. We are all jars of clay who have been afflicted in every way, but not crushed...struck down by not destroyed. Here, you do NOT have the right to remain silent, so as you read, grab your favorite snack and drink and leave a comment...share YOUR story. I can't wait to connect with you in this beautiful safe space.
She’s in pharmaceutical school. He’s serving in the Army. Bring them together and you instantly see the purest definition of a classic and timeless love.
When I first learned about this opportunity to second shoot Emily and Gio’s wedding for Callie Hardman Photography , my excitement went through the roof!!
Getting to Fredericksburg on this particular day was no crystal stair. There was tons of rain, a little ice and snow mixed with traffic and determined Christmas shoppers. For a quick moment, all the chaos made me super nervous. But once I saw Callie, I pulled out my camera and immediately went to work.
Seeing Emily and Gio together, documenting their love…it was as if the world around me fell quiet and time stood still. She was STUNNING. He was SUPER handsome. Together, their love created magic through cranberry and gold.
Watching her Phi Mu sisters circle up and sing their sisterhood song, made me immediately think of my sorority sisters. There’s absolutely NO feeling like the feeling of sisterhood.
And I just LOVE how they remembered their loved ones who couldn’t be there with them physically on their special day…
Callie, thank you SO much for allowing me to second shoot for you. Not only did I have a ball spending time with you, but I learned so much and fell even more in love with what I do. Emily and Gio, thank YOU for allowing me to be a part of your special day. It was one I will definitely ALWAYS remember. I salute you both. Congratulations!!!
