I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here!  Here, you'll find inspirational and encouraging stories of me and other broken people like me. We are all jars of clay who have been afflicted in every way, but not crushed...struck down by not destroyed.  Here, you do NOT have the right to remain silent, so as you read, grab your favorite snack and drink and leave a comment...share YOUR story. I can't wait to connect with you in this beautiful safe space.

Living in Alaska was amazing. ESPECIALLY during the winter…I just looooveed living in the winter wonderland. All the bears, moose and even foxes just roaming around were incredible to see. However, when we moved to Florida, I have to admit, I never thought I’d see camels, sheep and llamas just hanging out in a parking lot. But that’s exactly what I saw when I visited a live Nativity scene in Navarre, Beach, FL.

Christmas is my favorite time of the year. Not only is it a season for us all to slow down and reflect on the year, but getting together with family and friends to celebrate the birth of Jesus really just reminds me of what’s really important. The story of Jesus Christ’s birth is no doubt one of the greatest stories ever told, but to be able to experience in this kind of way was one unforgettable experience.

Navarre 1st Assembly of God in Navarre Beach creates this interactive experience every year for the community. With me being such a visual person, I really like that they bring the story to life and as we as a community are able to be participants. I get excited when I think about bringing Baby Harris to this next year. It would be such a fun experience!

I love that everywhere we live does something incredible for Christmas. Virginia had HollyDazzle and Jazz Nativity, Alaska had the North Pole and Santa’s House and now Florida has the live Nativity. It’s amazing to see all the creativity and different ways each community we become apart of celebrates the holidays. I can’t wait to explore more of this beautiful Emerald Coast during the holidays!
