I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here! Here, you'll find inspirational and encouraging stories of me and other broken people like me. We are all jars of clay who have been afflicted in every way, but not crushed...struck down by not destroyed. Here, you do NOT have the right to remain silent, so as you read, grab your favorite snack and drink and leave a comment...share YOUR story. I can't wait to connect with you in this beautiful safe space.
In my last CLIC post, I talked about what I learned and the amazing relationships I fostered while I was there! My brain is STILL spinning from all the knowledge I soaked up!!
But now…it’s alllllll about the love and beauty!!
As I begin to capture other couples dolled up in beautiful wedding attire more and more, I can’t help but imagine my own wedding day. As a photographer, my ultimate goal is to capture the essence of a couple’s love in the most honest and beautiful photographic essay. I photograph them the same way I want to be photographed and by giving the very best of me to them, I am able to truly capture the very best of them. This is why capturing Kacey and Jack’s love was such an unforgettable experience.
These two lovebirds are recently married and they were very graceful in allowing us to capture them on the beautiful cobblestone streets of Alexandria near the Athenaeum Museum. With every click of my shutter, I saw the purest love shine through…and then my heart just melted.
Kacey and Jack, thank you SO much for playing model for the day and allowing me to capture your love!! You two amazingly beautiful!!
