I don’t know where to begin with this beautiful woman here. She is the epitome of grace, strength and determination.

I first met Dionne a few months ago when I was looking for a hair and makeup artist for a shoot and from the moment I met her, I liked her. Without knowing much about her, there was something about her that drew me to her. It wasn’t just the fact that she’s an amazing makeup artist or that she’s the owner of her own business, D’Michelle Salon & Spa…it was something more. And then she opened up to me and told me:

 Dionne is a breast cancer survivor.

In that moment, I realized what was drawing me to her…it was her true appreciation for life. So many of us go through life just existing without even realizing it until we meet someone who is ACTUALLY LIVING. From the moment she stepped in front of my lens, I could see that she was living out her true calling in life. Dionne is not just a makeup artist. She is a walking testament of God’s power. She is strength personified and beauty at it’s finest.

Dionne, thank you SO much for being an inspiration to me. You are an amazing talent who I can’t wait to work with again!!!
