I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here! Here, you'll find inspirational and encouraging stories of me and other broken people like me. We are all jars of clay who have been afflicted in every way, but not crushed...struck down by not destroyed. Here, you do NOT have the right to remain silent, so as you read, grab your favorite snack and drink and leave a comment...share YOUR story. I can't wait to connect with you in this beautiful safe space.
“SHE IS CLOTHED IN DIGNITY AND STRENGTH AND SHE LAUGHS WITHOUT FEAR OF THE FUTURE…”
WOMEN.
As far as I’m concerned, we are the strongest, most gorgeous creatures on the planet. Our smiles can heal a community. Our faith can change the world. We are grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, wives and friends. We are entrepreneurs, teachers, engineers, doctors, politicians and SO much more. We are the carriers of life…the very heartbeat of humankind.
WE. ARE. POWERFUL.
As a woman, I want to take a moment to say thank you to every single woman reading this. Thank you for simply being you. For having the courage to get out of bed on the days you really want to hide under the covers…for speaking life into everyone you meet…for daring to chase your dreams…for having the unwavering faith the size of a mustard seed. Thank you for living life intentionally. Thank you for being genuine. Thank you for being confident. Thank you for being fearless.
Laurel Thatcher Ulrich said it best when she said “Well-behaved women seldom make history,” and while today may be International Women’s Day, I’m so proud to be able to have a profession where I am able to celebrate and honor women every single day.
So here’s to strong women.
May we know them.
May we BE them.
May we raise them.
