I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here! Here, you'll find inspirational and encouraging stories of me and other broken people like me. We are all jars of clay who have been afflicted in every way, but not crushed...struck down by not destroyed. Here, you do NOT have the right to remain silent, so as you read, grab your favorite snack and drink and leave a comment...share YOUR story. I can't wait to connect with you in this beautiful safe space.
I. LOVE. CHRISTMAS. It really is the most wonderful time of year! There’s no doubt in my mind that Jesus is the reason for the season. There’s something so magical about that time of year that everything about it makes me smile! Celebrating Jesus and getting into the Christmas spirit just does something for my soul. The music…the food…the time of reflection and the season of giving…I’m telling you guys…I LOVE Christmas!! So of course when I moved to Alaska, visiting the North Pole was IMMEDIATELY added to my bucket list. On my way to Fairbanks, I carved out some time to visit the North Pole and yes it was SO worth it!!
The actual city of North Pole is only about 15 minutes from Fairbanks and is a Christmas wonderland year-round! Even in August, I had the chance to see reindeer, drive down Santa Claus Lane, Kris Kringle Drive and Mistletoe Lane (gosh I wish Ethan was there for that one!!) Check out some of my favorites from town and the Santa’s official house!!
And in the spirit of Christmas, here are a few of of my favorite #ThrowbackThursday images of me and the hubby from a few years ago…IN OUR CHRISTMAS JAMMIES!!
Happy Thursday loves!!
