I've been keeping journals since I was in the 3rd grade and I'm so glad to share some of my most intimate life moments with you here! Here, you'll find inspirational and encouraging stories of me and other broken people like me. We are all jars of clay who have been afflicted in every way, but not crushed...struck down by not destroyed. Here, you do NOT have the right to remain silent, so as you read, grab your favorite snack and drink and leave a comment...share YOUR story. I can't wait to connect with you in this beautiful safe space.
We’re not reunited just yet, but in less than two weeks, we will be and although you can’t see my face, I’m literally smiling like a Cheshire cat as I’m sitting here writing this blog.
When you’re in a long-distance relationship, you learn to appreciate the time you have together as a couple so much more!! Last time we were together, we traveled, spent time with family and friends and got engaged. This time around…it’s a birthday celebration!!
E’s birthday is November 5th and mine is the 9th (I know..freaky right?), so I anticipate lots of fun surprises and adventures on this trip. I’m sure we’re going to start to do little things related to the wedding, such as creating a gift registry, so PLEASE…PLEEEEAASE say a prayer for me…this man has been talking about playing with that darn registration gun for months now and I’m may be slightly sorta kinda afraid!! 🙂 But in all seriousness, being in his arms, giving him sweet kisses…snuggling with him just because I can…Y’all. I CAN’T. WAIT.
I won’t be doing much blogging while I’m in “Ethanland,” so to keep up with us, be sure to follow our Team Harris Instagram page. I’m sure the shenanigans we get into will keep you entertained!
Here’s to one of THE best reunions ever!!
T-13 days!!!!
(Cue screaming and crazy dancing here! 😉 )
