I have

been dreaming of shooting someone in the snow since the first time I visited Alaska! Sure it’s cold (like…disrespectfully cold), but I didn’t care!! Shooting in the snow is so….MAGICAL!

Surprisingly enough, it’s been a pretty mild winter in Alaska, but Virginia got SLAMMED with snow, bringing my winter wonderland to the east coast and awakening my love for winter! Now don’t get me wrong, I LOVE spring and summer, but I’m also one of those people who loves winter! The boots, scarves, fabulous coats lots of snuggling!?!?! C’mon how could you NOT love winter?

When Melanie stepped in front of my lens, I knew something special was going to happen.

 

She is so incredibly graceful and just watching her move in the snow was definitely an unforgettable experience.
