I watch the Real daily. It has quickly become one of my faves.

This particular segment resonated with me on so many levels and I’m sure it may resonate with a few of you. My truth? I’m afraid to fail. Sometimes the thoughts of me not succeeding creep into my head and sometimes I even let them get the best of me and keep me from taking of leap of faith.

But like Tamar said, you have to do what you love because you LOVE it. Anyone who knows me, knows I do photography for the LOVE of it. It is my passion…my professional soul mate. I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else. It’s because of that, I have to put the negative thoughts on mute or else my dream, my passion will DIE.

It’s often said that if your dreams don’t scare you, they’re not big enough and I really do believe that’s true. So if you’re reading this and there’s something that God has placed on your heart…A path you believe He’s leading you down, a passion burning inside of you that you can’t seem to extinguish and a dream you can’t seem to let go…can I say something to you?

DO NOT LET ANYONE OR ANYTHING STOP YOU FROM GOING AFTER IT.

Take a leap of faith and try. You never know what can happen if you allow fear to hold you back. You can’t live a life of what ifs…
