There are

a lot of things that make me happy: Jesus, my husband, Teddy, photography, wine….seriously, the list could go on and on. But one of the things that really makes excited and so joyous is my personal community…my circle of ladies where cheering for the team is second nature and being there for one another is necessary to our way of life.

Now let me preface this by saying this: my entire team isn’t shown on this blog. We are WORLDWIDE and frankly if I showed my entire team, there would be MORE IMAGES THAN WORDS! My inner circle…the “team” as we call ourselves is filled with ladies who love to see each other win. These are the ladies who don’t care that I live 5,000 miles away from them in Alaska. As far as they are concerned, I’m just a plane ride away. I don’t care if it’s 3 in the morning when they call me. I’m picking up. These are the ladies that I share my insecurities and dreams with. The ones I want to see win at life above all else.  They are the ones I truly believe in. The girls I just can’t do life without. Society will have you thinking that women can’t stand to be around each other and that we’re always trying to tear each other down, but thankfully that just isn’t my reality. We are a team of wives, sisters, aunts, godmothers, entrepreneurs, travelers, ambassadors, dream chasers and game changers. We don’t have time to hate on each other because we’re too busy encouraging each other and doing whatever we can to help each other succeed. It’s not hard for me to support these women because I know when one of us wins, the entire team wins. Why spend your time comparing yourself to others? Her success is not your failure!!

Girlfriend, isn’t this what life should be about? Supporting each other’s successes and working with each other to regroup after failures? If we spent more time building a community, can you imagine how far we would be?? Ladies we are so much stronger together than we could ever be apart! And let’s be honest: Life is just MORE FUN when you got a team of cheerleaders behind of you!!

This isn’t going to be a long blog post, but I really wanted to thank my own team for everything they have EVER done to contribute to our community. Ladies watching you all succeed and chase your passions so fiercely and fearlessly is such a joy. I love you, I love, I love you!! It truly is an honor to be on your team.

So ladies raise your glass…Cheers to you. Cheers to us. Cheers to the Team. 🙂
