I don’t even know where to begin with Amanda. She is one of the sweetest souls walking the earth! Not only is a former Soldier who served for 10 years, but she loves wine! She’s totally a girl after my own heart!! Originally from Chicago, Amanda now lives in Virginia, which is a PERFECT place to live as a wine lover! Wine aside, her spirit is amazing! I’m telling you….this girl has a got a heart of pure gold!

Amanda wanted portraits with the two most important men in her life: her adorable dad and son dog-duo Charlie and Linus and I totally don’t blame her! Look at those faces! Who wouldn’t want to take pictures with these little cuties?!?

Filled with so much spunk and personality, Charlie and Linus were naturals in front of the camera! As a dog lover, this session in northern Virginia was so much fun, but as a woman, it was so empowering to be around such a beautiful and passionate woman. I met Amanda while she was serving in the U.S. Army and from the moment I met her, I knew she had a heart for helping people. Now that she’s no longer in the service, her heart for service has only gotten bigger. She continues to be a supporter of the military by blending her love for service members and her love for fitness.

“I love to inspire others to be the best they can be,” she told me.

As a photographer, her heart for service and inspiring others to be the best they can be is something resonates with me. I love serving my clients and inspiring them to see the beauty they have within. The beauty of a woman is reflected in her soul, the care she lovingly gives and the passion she shows. Amanda is not possesses this beauty…she gives it freely to the world.

Amanda, it was so good to see again while in Virginia! You are just as  stunning as I remember! I’m incredibly proud of you and photographing you, Charlie and Linus was my honor!! Thank you for your service and all that you have given to our country! Continue to be great girlfriend…your heart is beautiful! 🙂
